Web design for Montgomery businesses

Nobody calls the ugly one.

Your next customer is standing in a parking lot with their phone out, deciding between you and the shop down the road. Drag the handle. One of these sites is losing that call every single day.

What the old site costs

It's not about looking pretty. It's about the four seconds before they hit back.

Nothing here is a design opinion. It's what happens on a phone, on cell data, in the seconds a customer gives you before they try the next name on the list.

  • They can't tap the phone number It's typed as plain text, or worse, it's inside an image. On a phone that's a dead end, and dead ends don't ring.
  • They have to pinch and zoom A site built for a desktop monitor in 2009 is unreadable on a 6-inch screen. Two thirds of your visitors are on that screen.
  • It doesn't say where you work If your town isn't written on the page, Google struggles to show you to the person searching two miles away.
  • It looks like you might be closed A 2009 website reads the same as a dark window and a faded sign. People assume you went out of business and keep scrolling.

In every build

Everything below is standard. There is no upsell for the basics.

Built for the phone first
Designed on a phone screen, then widened for desktop. Not the other way around.
Tap-to-call everywhere
Your number is a button on every screen. One tap, phone rings.
Loads in under two seconds
No bloated page builders. Real code, small files, fast on cell data.
Google Business Profile setup
Claimed, filled in, hours correct, and pointed at your new site.
A quote form that reaches you
Goes straight to your email and your phone. Tested before launch.
Your town on the page
Service areas written where both customers and search engines read them.
Reviews on the front page
The good ones you already have, pulled up where people actually see them.
Written for you
I write the words from one phone call. You approve them. No homework.

See the work

Don't take my word for it. Open one.

A real client site and five complete demos — not pictures of sites. Click through them, then pull them up on your phone and watch them hold together. Notice that no two look alike — your business shouldn't wear somebody else's template.

Client work
The Circle Lady
thecirclelady.com

Restorative justice training and facilitation, based right here in Montgomery. Nine pages, her own photography, built to a brand guide her team handed me and followed to the letter. This is what the work looks like when it has a real name on it.

Open the site
  • Nine pagesHome, about, who she serves, solutions, training, resources, contact
  • Her brand, not a themeSix approved colors, her fonts, her words used verbatim
  • Keyboard and screen reader testedSkip links, focus states, labeled forms

Straight with you: those five are demo businesses I invented, not clients. The Circle Lady above is the real one. I'd rather build five sites from scratch to show you than borrow somebody else's screenshots. Your site gets built to this standard, with your name on it.

Flat pricing

Optional after launch: $59/month covers hosting, security updates, backups, and small edits — new hours, new photos, a price change — sent by text and done the same week. Cancel any time and the site is still yours.

How it goes

Three touches from you. That's the whole job.

Day 1 · 15 minutes

We talk once.

What you do, who calls you, what you want more of. Text me any photos you already have. That's the last thing I need from you for a week.

Day 3 · you review

You see the real thing.

Not a mockup or a stock template — the actual site, on a link you can open on your phone. Tell me what to change. Still $0 at this point.

Day 10 · live

It goes up, and it's yours.

I point your domain, test the form, and hand you every login. Then I call you in a month to see if the phone is ringing more.

Straight answers

The things people ask on the call.

I already have a Facebook page. Isn't that enough?
It's a good start, and you should keep it. But you don't control it, it doesn't show up the same way in search, and plenty of customers — especially anyone over 50 and anyone spending real money — want to see a proper site before they trust you with a job. The two work together.
What if I need to change something later?
Text me. New hours, a price change, photos from a job you're proud of — that's what the $59/month care plan covers, and it's usually done the same week. If you'd rather handle it yourself, I'll show you how in one sitting.
Do I actually own the site?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name, the files are yours, and you get every login on launch day. Nothing is rented from me. If you ever want another person to take it over, they can.
Who writes the words? I'm not a writer.
I do, from the phone call. You'll get it back to read and correct — you know your trade better than I ever will — but you're editing, not staring at a blank page.
I don't have good photos.
Most people don't at first. We start with clean stock images that don't look like stock, then swap in your real work as you send it. Photos from your phone are fine. Real beats polished every time.
What if I don't like it?
You see the finished site before you pay anything. If it's not right, tell me and I'll rework it. If it's still not right, we shake hands and you owe me nothing.
Will this put me at the top of Google?
Nobody honest can promise that. What I can do is the groundwork that actually moves the needle locally: a fast site, your town written on the page, your Google Business Profile filled in properly, and your reviews where people see them. That's most of the battle for a local search.

Let's talk

Send me your current site. I'll tell you what I'd fix.

Free, no pitch, about fifteen minutes. If your site is fine as it is, I'll tell you that too and we'll both get on with our day.
